At Goodlives, every part of our horticultural site has a purpose—to grow, to nurture, and to teach. Thanks to the incredible support from Forth Engineering, we’ve taken another huge step forward in this mission with the installation and delivery of our modular kitchen!
This kitchen has quickly become a thriving hub of activity, where learners can bring the fruits (and vegetables!) of their hard work full circle – harvesting fresh crops and turning them into delicious, budget-friendly meals.
The modular kitchen has transformed how we engage with learners. It’s no longer just about growing vegetables; it’s about discovering what can be done with them. Learners are gaining hands-on experience in cooking nutritious meals while sticking to a budget, valuable skills they can carry into their daily lives. One learner captured the spirit of this transformation perfectly, saying, “This is the best vegetable soup I’ve ever had!” Moments like these remind us why this kitchen is so much more than just a functional space—it’s an opportunity for connection, nourishment and learning.
